Meet The Team Behind @coilfiu

When my team first got this account, we wanted to make the page feel more alive so we introduced ourselves to the audience. This would help students connect and engage with the page more. Miranda was the account executive and Fabiana was the PR specialist.

FIU x Coventry University: Acting Experience

My team wanted to show how students can benefit from FIU COIL in an informative, yet entertaining way. It doesn't get any better than Andy Serkis providing tips on the spot in addition to a funny meme. This video was edited and narrated by me.

FIU Study Abroad Mini Vlog

My team wanted to showcase content that relates to the ideals of FIU COIL. Studying abroad can drive students to want to learn and connect with other cultures. In addition, this post would encourage students to interact with the page more since they are seeing their peers.

My Role As Account Executive

FIU COIL's goal was to promote their professional development calendar for July 2024 onward. They want students and faculty to know that their workshops walk faculty and administrators through every step of creating a COIL project.

As an account executive, I essentially took what I did previously as a strategist and expanded on it. I was able to produce a lot more creative content that impressed my clients and students who gained a better understanding and interest in the program. I led a team of four great people: Norman (Design Specialist; on my left), Ana (Digital Specialist; on my right), Juan (Strategist; second right), and Zac (Social Media Specialist; at the end).

We capitalized on a popular trend at the time to inform the audience about FIU COIL.

FIU COIL x Japan

FIU COIL went to Japan for a conference and it was important to show how they establish international relationships along with what faculty can expect from participating in FIU COIL.

Students created a digital world for "Artistic Expressions of Disability in Educations" and we encouraged students to participate.

Interviewing Professor Emmanuel

I interviewed my professor and I asked him "What is a lesson plan you always wanted to do but it was too challenging to execute?". This interview allowed him to share his perspective as a professor while also promoting how FIU COIL can benefit him.

The Results
